AVW200 Vibrating-Wire Interface
The AVW200 Vibrating Wire Spectrum Analyzer Module allows our dataloggers to measure vibrating-wire strain gauges, pressure transducers, piezometers, tiltmeters, crackmeters, and load cells. These sensors...
CDM-VW300 2-Channel Dynamic Vibrating Wire Analyser
The CDM-VW300 is a two-channel interface between sensors and dataloggers that allows shorter intervals between measurements. The analyser greatly reduces noise that often occurs with...
AVW216 Wireless Vibrating-Wire Interface
The AVW216 is a vibrating wire interface that includes an internal 2.4-GHz spread-spectrum radio for wireless communication. The internal radio's frequency range is used worldwide....
AVW100 Interface for Vibrating Wire Sensors
The AVW100 is available as a replacement part or as needed for continuity or compatibility, but we recommend the AVW200-series interfaces for all new applications....
AVW4 Interface for Vibrating Wire Sensors
The AVW4 is available as a replacement part or as needed for continuity or compatibility, but we recommend the AVW200-series interfaces for all new applications....
AVW1 Interface for Vibrating Wire Sensors
The AVW1 is available as a replacement part or as needed for continuity or compatibility, but we recommend the AVW200-series interfaces for all new applications.

About Vibrating Wire Interfaces
These interfaces allow our dataloggers to read vibrating wire sensors. Vibrating wire (or vibrating strip) transducers are commonly used to measure strain, load, pressure, and water level. These sensors output a frequency signal generated by a vibrating filament that can be read on an analog channel.
Because frequencies rather than voltage levels are measured, these transducers are often better suited than 4- or 6-wire resistive bridge transducers to applications in electrically noisy environments or those requiring long lead lengths. Vibrating wire transducers also have a reputation for long-term stability.
