Who are Campbell Scientific?

Campbell Scientific have extensive experience in the installation, maintenance, repair and calibration of aviation software and measurement equipment in the UK. Campbell Scientific offer a range of products and services designed specifically to meet the challenges faced by our customers across Aviation and related industries. In addition to the comprehensive product range, our service offering covers two main areas - Lifecycle Services and Project Services.

Lifecycle Services

Flexible and responsive, Campbell Scientific’s life-cycle solutions offers a range of services that flex to meet customer requirements throughout the lifetime of a product or system.

Designed to ensure you continue to collect high quality data, our services range from routine maintenance visits through calibration services, emergency callout and obsolescence management programs. All work is undertaken by highly trained Campbell Scientific Technicians who are qualified to maintain equipment located in challenging locations and environments.

Onsite maintenance and calibration

Campbell Scientific systems are designed to deliver accurate and reliable data in the most arduous of environments and demanding of applications. Planned and preventative maintenance is the most effective way to provide ongoing data quality assurance, addressing issues before they become issues and reducing total lifetime cost of ownership.

Annual and planned preventative maintenance and calibration services are a series of physical checks, calibrations and maintenance actions which are designed to maximize the life of your Campbell Scientific system. The programmes ensure that all equipment and sensors are in good condition and continue to perform to all relevant standards and continue to report accurate data.

Routine maintenance and calibration

For customers without a planned or preventative maintenance programmed, Campbell Scientific can offer a routine (or reactive) maintenance or calibration service visit tailored to the customer and site requirements.

Campbell Technicians bring their product and application experience and can advise on how to get the best out of their system and continue to receive high quality measurement data.

Calibration and repair

All sensors and measurement equipment require repair or calibration at recommended intervals over the lifetime of a product. Calibration ensures measurements remain precise and the output data accurate and reliable. Our head office facility in Shepshed contains a fully equipped maintenance facility complete with testing and calibration equipment suitable for the comprehensive range of Campbell Scientific measurement equipment installed in the field.

All calibrations cover functional testing and traceable calibration. Certificates and service reports are available.

If you have datalogger or sensor that requires calibration or repair, please contact us to obtain a Return Material Authorisation (RMA) number before returning the product. 

If you have a product in the field that you suspect may need repair or calibration, contact us about a maintenance visit.

Project Services

Campbell Scientific's project team can offer a complete end-to-end project management service regardless of project size.

Adept at all aspects of project management from system and network design through installation, maintenance and data visualisation, our services are available as a complete package or sourced individually as required.

Campbell Scientific can provide end-to-end project solutions designed to deliver high quality data from conception through to installation and data realisation. Every project is different so we tailor our service to match customer requirements but our tried and tested methodology has delivered successful projects of every size across Europe. Site assessment and site surveys

A site survey will provide recommendations tailored for the application to ensure optimal measurement return. The survey will provide the framework and capture the information required to ensure a safe and optimised installation be it by Campbell engineers or your own personnel.

System and network design

Building and designing systems and measurement solutions has been a Campbell strength for many years. Every customer has different needs, each solution we design is tailored to the customer's requirements and is designed with flexibility and quality in mind. Each solution includes rigorous and robust factory acceptance testing before heading to site for installation and site acceptance testing. Installation and commissioning

Campbell Scientific installation services ensures that your systems are installed, connected, powered, collecting data and ready to go. An installation may include everything from infrastructure installation and hardware set-up through to integration of the equipment into your existing infrastructure.  

Training

For large network installations Campbell scientific can provide on-site training to your personnel, empowering your own field personnel with the knowledge of your new data collection systems, making sure your business is equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to start using your new equipment immediately.
