Configure your Datalogger for Ethernet Communication

If you're not using Ethernet over USB, use the Device Configuration Utility to enter IP (Internet Protocol) information for your datalogger. 

  • IP Address, 
  • Subnet Mask, and 
  • IP Gateway. 

This can be provided by your network administrator or by DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol).  For field deployment, a static IP address is recommended.
